Photo Contest - Yearcalendar 2027

Your photo in the official Skydive Teuge calendar!

Are you a sports jumper and do you enjoy taking beautiful photos?

Enter Skydive Teuge’s Photo Contest for a chance to be named Photo of the Month or appear on the cover of the 2027 calendar.

Who is it for?

This Photo Contest is for all sports jumpers.

You don’t need a B license or 200 jumps.

The photo must have been taken at Skydive Teuge, for example:

•  in the hangar

•  in the wolk (club bar)

•  on the field

•  under the canopy

•  or of course: in the air (B license and 200 jumps required)

 

 

 How to participate?

•  Read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page

•  You can submit two photos each month (taken in the specified month)

•  Each month, the four potential winners will be posted on Instagram and the winner will be chosen by the public

•  Each month, we will also announce who has a chance to be featured as the cover photo!

Terms and conditions: (ENG)

Participation:

  • The contest is open for all sport jumpers.
  • The photo must have been taken in the same month as the month for which you are submitting it.
  • Each photo may only be submitted once. Two photos per month per person.
  • Only photos that fully comply with the DZ rules may be submitted. Photos depicting actions for which permission has not been granted, or for which you should have known that permission was required, will result in immediate disqualification. This applies to both the photographer and the persons in the photo.
  • The photo must have been taken at Skydive Teuge:
    • In the hangar
    • In the wolk (club bar)
    • On the field
    • Under the canopy
    • or of course: in the air (B license and 200 jumps required)

Technical requirements:

  • JPEG-format
  • Minimum of 3000 pixels on the longest side.
  • Editing is allowed for general adjustments.
  • No AI, no adding or removing elements (except for minor imperfections). No frames, watermarks, or names in the photo.
  • Photos must be horizontal.
  • Participants agree to the possibility of cropping the photo for social media and the calendar.
  • Participants agree to the use of the photo for various commercial purposes by SkydiveTeuge. They also declare that they are the creator and have not sold the rights.

Jury and evaluation

  • Each month, the jury (Manifest) selects four potential winners. These are posted on Instagram Stories, where the public can vote for their favorite. The Instagram Story is announced 24 hours in advance. Voting is possible for the 24 hours that the post is online.
  • The jury also selects a potential winner for the cover photo each month. At the end of the year, the public can vote for their favorite via Instagram. The cover photo winner will be announced via the calendar.
  • If a jury member participates as a photographer or is featured in the photo, that person will be excluded from the jury team for that month.
  • Assessment criteria: The photos will be assessed on composition, color, and sense of community. The photo does not have to contain all three aspects; each criterion can contribute separately to the impact of the photo. And the photo must meet the criteria listed under “participation.”

  • Data collected: We collect the data entered for a maximum of 2 years after submission.
  • Purpose of processing: The data will only be used for participation in the photo contest, communication about the contest, and announcing winners via our social media.
  • Sharing with third parties: Data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except where necessary for the organization of the contest (e.g., judging via Instagram).
  • Rights of participants: Participants have the right to view, correct, or delete their data. They may withdraw their consent for the use of their photos for promotional purposes, unless the photo has already been processed in printed matter or other already published materials.
