Upper and lower age limits?

Minimum age
The minimum age to learn skydiving is 16 years or older. Up to the age of 18 you also need permission from both your parents or guardian.

Maximum age
The maximum age to follow a parachute jumping training at Skydive Teuge is 50 years. Skydiving is a physically and mentally demanding high-speed sport that requires quick and adequate action in certain situations. We know from experience that people at an advanced age do this much less well and quickly than young people. Despite all safety measures, the risk of incorrect or late reaction in emergency situations increases considerably, sometimes resulting in nasty and serious injuries.

Medical fitness

Of course, you must be medically fit to be able to skydive.

You will receive the statement to be completed as an attachment to your registration. For more information check our website page: Medical check Skydiving

Note that you must be medically approved before your first jump!

AFF course

If you have already made up your mind that you want to learn how to skydive, it is best to first start on an AFF course. With the AFF method you go directly from the first jump to a height of 4 km and you make a free fall of 50 seconds accompanied by two instructors. After 7 jumps (7 levels) you are already able to independently make a controlled freefall jump from a height of 4 km. AFF is by far the best method to learn how to parachute quickly and safely.
