Military wing 3 jumps AFF training including VR session

Freefall course for active military

From Staticline to AFF

The Static Line course has traditionally been the basic training for parachuting. In recent decades, however, the so-called AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) course has become increasingly popular—a training method that has now become the standard entry-level course for learning to skydive and is known for its very steep learning curve. AFF is a much more efficient and, above all, safer learning method, with direct instructor supervision during the crucial phases of the jump. Military personnel who learn to parachute as part of their operational duties at the DPS (Defence Para School) are also trained using the AFF method for this exact reason. With the AFF method, you go up to an altitude of 4 km from the very first jump and experience a 50-second free fall accompanied by two instructors.

Skydive Teuge is gradually phasing out the Static Line training and has developed an AFF introductory course for military personnel who want to earn their wing. After an extensive VR session and three successful AFF jumps, you are entitled to wear the parawing. For more information about wearing the wing, please contact your supervisor. In addition, you will gain an incredible experience, including the ultimate sensation of free fall—an element that was notably missing from the Static Line course.

More information groups
  • Groups of 12 people or more: In consultation, we can in principle start the training on any weekday. In good weather conditions, it is possible to complete the course within 2 to 3 days.

VR session

With the addition of the VR session (2 hours), this course combines theory, practice, and technology, allowing you to build a solid foundation in skydiving. Read more about the VR session here. The VR session will (if possible) be scheduled before your first jump, so that you are well prepared for the flight under your parachute.

The AFF training is all-in, and includes:

KNVvL temporary membership

€ 1.275,-

After a classroom-based ground training session on the first day, the next day you will start with the VR session, followed by your first jump with two instructors from 4 kilometers (over 12,000 ft) altitude. You will experience nearly a minute of freefall. In total, you will make 3 jumps, progressing through 3 levels with different tasks. During the first 3 jumps, you will be guided by 2 instructors. They will teach you how to rotate, do flips, open the parachute independently, steer, and, of course, land safely.

If the weather is good, it is possible to complete the 3-jump AFF course in 2 to 3 days. Please note: after completing the 3-jump AFF course, you are not yet a certified skydiver and cannot jump solo. To do so, you must complete the full AFF course (7 levels). For military personnel, it is possible to apply for wings after completing the 3 jumps. Please check this internally within your department!

Craving more? After completing your 3rd jump on the same day, you can pay an additional amount (check our price page) to finish the AFF course. Please note: this must be done within 3 months after your ground training. You will then make 4 more jumps with 1 instructor. The full AFF course can be completed in 3 or 4 days, depending on the weather. After completing the seventh level, you can jump solo without guidance. Your skydiving career has begun!
